Welcome to our Web site for the total solar eclipse of March 29, 2006. This site is for those of you who joined us in Steinheim in 1999 and your friends. If you were there, you know a little of the excitement of chasing an eclipse as well as the frustration of being thwarted by the weather! We are heading for the Mediterranean coast of Turkey for the 2006 eclipse. Turkey in March also has its share of clouds, but the chances of clear skies are still better than they were for Germany.  So mark your calendars and make your plans to join us.

The eclipse is over and it was fantastic!  Photos don’t do it justice, but check them out anyway to get a hint of what we saw.
